Funny situation: We have users who connect remotely and use a VPN.
Once the VPN is established they have full access to our internal network.
We do publish outlook anywhere settings to all computers but once the vpn is launched outlook should be able to connect directly to the server (we also have OCS2007 and it connects without issue). BUT Outlook always tries to connect to HTTPS instead of TCP/IP.
I thought it was slow link but I can put my self on a segmented vlan so the link between me and exchange is 100mbps, still chooses HTTPS. I thought it also uses autodiscover and/or DNS but it should be able to resolve internal servers since OCS connects properly.
Thoughts?
