(Exch2010SP2, no rollups)
I scripted a whole bunch of add-mailboxdatabasecopy commands to make 30 or so new passive copies of databases (very large, ~150GB DBs) across 4 servers in the DAG. After letting it run over the weekend, I came back to it to see most of the new copies in a Suspended state. After trying to resume replication, they failed and then went to "failed and suspended". The error message says that replication couldn't continue because there is no database file to copy to. Lo and behold, in most of the new databases, there is the typical catalog folder, but no .edb file. Event Viewer isn't shedding any light on why this would have happened, and I'm kind of stumped.
I'm currently updating the suspended DBs, which is working, but it's taking double the time it took to just add new ones (also strange).
Any ideas on why this would happen?
