Hi there, we have a two server multi-site DAG. Each Exchange server has all roles installed. Today the primary site went down and we failed over to the second site. This lasted two hours. Some mail flowed to the active database on Site B. When Site A came back up, there were some issues and somehow it mounted the database. Now we have a split brain situation, and I cannot get Site B mailbox copies to start ReSyncing as it was mounted at the same time as Site A databases. The DAG was in DAC mode, and its running Ex2010 SP2 with rollup 4. I shutdown Site B server and we are successfully running from Site A alone.
Is there any way I can restore the DAG configuration now that there is divergence on the databases?
If not, I would like to tear down the whole DAG config as there seems to be Cluster issues, Active Manager issues and each site seems to think the other isnt available.
Please let me know how I should proceed if I can A) restore the current DAG config, or B) completely tear down the config and build a new DAG setup and re-replicate the database, seeding from Site A database.
