unfortunately i could not manage to purchase a SAN cert for my exchange server and there are only 20 days to expiration of my internal certificate (it is provided by a windows 2008 r2 CA role in the domain) so i think is should renew it and pursue my goal to obtain a 3rd party certificate
but i have some questions :
1- is the renew process as easy as making a csr in console and transfer it to my internal domain CA and create a certificate and then put it back to exchange server ? or there are more which is should know ?
2-someone suggested somewhere not to renew it but issue a new one ! what do you think about it ?
3- maybe in next month i can afford to buy SAN certs for my exchange. i want to know if i will have any problem at that time replacing my internal CA with that one
4- and a question i have asked many times but got no answer : can i have multiple certificates in a server and use them for separate accepted domains ?
