Tasks not showing correctly

We have a domain with exchange 2010 on and our users are using Outlook 2010

We have recently started using tasks and these work fine with all but 1 user - when this user has a task created for him by a particular user the task appears to corrupt on route - ie no option to accept, decline etc only a corrupted message which looks like you need to scroll left to see but you can't!!!

This sender can send to everyone else ok and this user appears to recieve tasks from other people ok - i have tried recreating his Outlook profile, his windows 7 profile, put him on a new machine and not a slight bit of difference.

I am completely stumped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

others have suggested sfe mode btw which doesn't work!!!
