I'm hoping someone can give me some ideas on this one. Here's what I have:
One Exchange 2010 server for company.com on 10.0.0.2 internal address
One Exchange 2010 server for company2.com on 10.0.1.5 internal address
Here's what I need to accomplish:
I have 3 users on company.com that need to have their user@company.com emails forwarded to user@company2.com inside the network. I have the subnet mask correct and the servers can see each other but when someone sends an email to user@company.com, the user never receives the email forwarded to user@company2.com.
Here's what I've done so far:
Setup local email (and user) accounts for the people on company.com
Forwarded their mail over to a mail contact for the users and pointed them to company2.com
I've checked the mail queues and they don't show the emails in the queues. I have a receive connector setup on the company2.com as a relay to accept anything from the company.com server. On the company.com server, I've got a send connector and I've made sure the company2.com domain is in the DNS and it pings properly. I've turned off all spam filters on both servers (we use a Sonicwall ES300 to pre-filter for spam anyway). I can directly email company2.com from outside the network so the routing there should be correct.
Am I missing something here? Thanks for any ideas!
