hello all, we had a bad one friday. our hr manager decided to send a broadcast email (email to everybody) about 300 users with a 6meg attachment. Well guess what happened it crashed exchange server 2010 sp1. mails got stuck in the queue and we restarted
a few processes rebooted exchange same issue. The opts Manger ended up calling Microsoft they had to restore the database mail was lost from 10/29 to 11/2 end users in cached mode did not lose emails, but of course we have some users that are not in cached
mode. so you know my question how do we prevent this is there a setting that disables attachments when sending broadcast emails?
